Bob & Patty Tunnell's 1995 Championship BMW M3 is available in three different setups:

Factory (OEM) Setup
I'm asking $28,965, which is average retail for a '95 M3 in excellent condition in the Rocky Mountain region*. The car only has 44,000 miles, which is about 10,000 miles under what's considered acceptable. This car is in outstanding condition and an exceptional value at that price.

My car is Alpine White with the anthracite/amaretta Motorsport cloth/suede seats and interior -- the same interior that comes standard in the M3 LTW. Also like the LTW it has no sunroof (very rare). But unlike the LTW, it does have factory air conditioning and cruise control. It does not have a CD player, although like all BMWs it is pre-wired for one.

It has been run on Mobil One or Red Line Oil in the engine and MTL or D4ATF in the transmission exclusively since the break-in period. The transmission was replaced under manufacturer's warranty in June of 1996. The clutch disk and pressure plate was replaced in August 1997.

I will sell it with the standard 10-spoke 7.5" x 17" cast Motorsport alloy wheels.

A Stock Setup
I'm asking $32,250, which includes all of the OEM parts and features listed above including the following modifications:

1. Koni Single-Adjustable Sport Shocks, custom valving by TC Kline Racing
(Note to those that have been here before: .through careless editing I originally erronously listed the car with H&R 29910 springs which are most definitely *not* legal in SCCA Stock autocrossing!)
2. Dinan free-flow muffler (street legal cat-back exhaust)
3. New Hawk HPS brake pads (autocross compound)
4. New front brake rotors
5. NGK Gold fine-wire plugs (by Secret Ignition)
6. K&N Air Filter
7. Blonde Motorsport telescoping harness bar with I/O Port video camera mount
8. Pyrotect cam-lock 6-point 3" driver restraints (driver & passenger)
9. Extra set (4) of BMW 7.5" x 17" cast Motorsport alloy wheels (from a 1997 M3)
10. Four (4) Hoosier A3S03 225/45R17 race tires (used)

This is the setup used to win the 1996 SCCA Solo II AS and ASL National Championships.

17. TC Kline Design camber/caster plates

19. Four (4) Forgeline 9" x 17" alloy wheels (weigh only 17.5 pounds)
20. Four (4) Hoosier A3S03 245/40R17 race tires (used)

This is the setup used to win the 1997 and 1998 SCCA Pro Solo CSP National Championships and the 1998 Solo II CSPL National Championships AND the 2000 L2 ProSolo National Championship, Ladies Overall ProSolo National Championship, ESP Pro Solo National Championship, ESP Solo II National Championship, and the ESPL Solo II National Championship!

Even with at this level of development the car is still very streetable and was driven to four ProSolos and National Tour events in 2000 from San Diego, California to Peru, Indiana.

Throughout the car's Street Prepared development, I have worked with Jim Conforti and TC Kline toward achieving three goals: maximum torque from the powerplant, lightest weight possible, and best autocross handling attainable. Parts and components are all BMW quality or better and cost was no object.

Since purchasing this car in the fall of 1995, this car has won 5 Solo II National Championships and 5 ProSolo National Championships in both Stock and Street Prepared. It is a proven winner.

Pricing Flexibity
I can be somewhat flexible on pricing depending on what components you want. For example: If you want the AS or ESP setup but don't want/need all the OEM spare parts, I can accept a significant amount less because I can sell most of the OEM parts.

Also, I can mix 'n match any of the parts listed and customize the car to your specific desires. Tell me what you're willing to spend and let's see what we can work out parts-wise.

Delivery anywhere west of the Mississippi is included with all full-price offers. Delivery east of the Mississippi can also be arranged, but will carry a slight charge.

For more information contact me directly.

Why am I selling?
The only reason I'm selling this wonderful machine is to purchase a new E46 M3 when it comes out next fall. Yes, I plan to autocross it. <g>
